Yes, the Free plan lets you add up to 25 videos and launch your first widget at no cost, with no credit card required.
- 1Copy your widget snippet from the Socialgator dashboard.
- 2In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store and click Themes.

- 4In the Layout folder, open theme.liquid.
- 5Paste the snippet just before the closing </head> tag.

Embedding & widgets
Where and how your widgets appear on your store.
Any website or store platform that accepts custom HTML, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Wix and plain HTML pages. One snippet works everywhere.
Copy the widget snippet from the dashboard, then paste it into your theme using the custom HTML block or the theme code editor (Online Store → Themes → Edit code). No app install is needed.
Carousels, grids and story popups. Each widget can be customised with your brand colours, fonts, buttons, autoplay behaviour and optional custom CSS.
Yes, widgets are built mobile-first with a familiar story player and touch-friendly shopping, so they work and convert on phones.
Products & tagging
Linking the products featured in your videos.
After adding a video, pick the products it features and place tags over the frame. Shoppers can tap a tag to see the product and buy it.
Yes. Connect your Shopify store once and your catalogue stays in sync automatically, so tagging is fast and product details are always up to date.
Product tagging is included on paid plans. The Free plan lets you launch your first widgets and upgrade later without losing your work.
Analytics & events
Understand views, clicks and conversions.
The analytics dashboard tracks widget views, story opens and product clicks. Events can be pushed into your Google Tag Manager and GA4 setup.
Widget view and click events are first-party and anonymised, and embedded widgets set no tracking cookies of their own.
The analytics dashboard and tag manager integration are included on Pro and Business plans.
Billing & plans
Plans, limits and billing questions.
Your widgets keep working and you can upgrade at any time. Limits are enforced per plan, and unused videos from the Free plan carry over when you upgrade.
Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time from the billing settings. Cancelled accounts keep access until the end of the paid period.
No. Plans are month-to-month with transparent pricing, and there are no setup or hidden fees.
